KJ loves people, traveling, dogs, nature, outdoor activities and anything in or around water! KJ is native to Santa Barbara, CA and still calls it home after serving with her husband in active duty military service for 15 years. The military and quest for travel has given KJ a broad view of various cultures and celebrates each uniqueness. KJ and her husband, Bret with their 4 sons have lived for years in Santa Barbara, Italy, Spain, Hawaii, South Korea, North Carolina, Georgia and Utah and enjoy traveling to Europe, Mexico, Thailand, Canada, and throughout the US. KJ and Bret are empty nesters now and enjoy exploring the backroads of UT on Bret’s motorcycle. KJ has a private music studio, “5 To 1 Music Studio” where she teaches Voice and Piano.
KJ and Bret operate the only Wound Care clinic at St. Mark’s Hospital called ‘Physician Wound Care’ and sell medical supplies to the public online and at a store called; ‘Salt Lake Medical and Wound Supply’. KJ is a masters graduate of Augusta State University/GRU, UCSB, and UCTS. KJ currently resides in Utah with her husband of 35 years and her 4 dogs.
